Ofsted Reports:

Pupils have positive attitudes to their learning, work in lessons and feel happy safe and free from bullying.

Standards are particually high in mathematics

The standards reached are above those seen in most schools for pupils of the same age. This is true of most pupils, inlcuding disabled pupils or those who have special needs.

Teachers have strong subject knowledge and make sure that pupils of all abilities and blackgrounds make good progess, inluding the more able.

The rate of participation in extra- curricular activities is very good.

This is a school where every child matters. The pastoral team is outstanding. It tracks pupils carefully, picking up those who are in danger of underachieving and taking immediate action.

The liaison work with the upper and lower schools is outstanding and pupils feel very well prepared to transfer to the next stage of their education.
